Corrections and Updates Policy
At TriniLulz, accuracy matters. We move fast when the story is moving fast, but speed is not an excuse for getting the facts wrong. When a significant factual error is identified, we will correct it.
We also update articles when new information becomes available, when a developing story changes, or when additional context helps readers better understand what is going on.
Corrections
A correction may be made when an article contains a meaningful factual error, including but not limited to:
- incorrect names
- incorrect dates
- wrong locations
- inaccurate quotations
- factual misstatements
- missing or misleading context that materially affects the reader’s understanding
Where appropriate, significant corrections may be reflected in the article itself, including a note that the article was corrected or updated.
Updates
Not every change is a correction. Some articles are updated because the story develops. That may include:
- new official statements
- new data
- new legal or political developments
- added reporting
- added background context
- clearer wording or headline refinements
Where relevant, updated articles may reflect a revised timestamp.

We take credible correction requests seriously and review them as quickly as possible.
Editorial Note
TriniLulz publishes several types of content, including news, explainers, analysis, opinion, satire, and humour. Requests for correction are assessed in light of the content type and whether the issue is factual, contextual, or interpretive.
